Is it possible to completely save a website to your hdd?

Like, is it possible for me to save a site, and then disconnect from the internet and then view it (minus the updates and stuff like that)?

Netscape can do this to some degree...
It works well, but it's not 100% accurate (say a Javascript reference a graphic or something, it won't correct the javascript).
(it also only saves one page, not the whole site)

You should be able to use wget. wget isn't installed by default on OS X, but I bet you can get it somewhere (probably through fink).
wget has a recursive option (-r) as well as a maximum depth specification (-l).

I just tested DeepVacuum 0.90... very good job. I was amazed at how large the 1st and 2nd level copy of Apple's web site was (70+MB)

you don't need fink for it, if you don't want to install fink. just look elsewhere

anyone know how to get deep vaccum to just get pics or vids from a site that requires a pw/login? i think yall know what im talkin about  anyway i tried but dont know where to load the login/pw
