I have 10.3, and need to replace a .kext file from 10.2 to 10.3. Let's not go into why as I don't want this forum turning into why would I want to do this type of thing.

Please let me know if you are running 10.2 and can send me the file.
My email is timmerk[remove]ATcomcastDOTnet

Thanks!

You can use Pacifist (link in my sig) to extract the kext from the 10.2 install CD's.
I would have a backup system handy, though, in case you accidentally render your system unbootable doing this.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Thanks, but unfortunately, I left my 10.2 CDs back at home (I'm at college) and only have the 10.3 ones.

What kext do you need? It might be in a OS X update. try downloading the 10.2.8 combo updater and looking for it with pacifist. It's important to know that you must use the "ditto" command when installing kext's. just use it as you would for the cp unix command.
