Is there a way in Mac OS X to shut down services that start on reboot ?
Any equivalent to 'setup' on Linux or 'msconfig' on Windows ?
Thx

Not sure what specific services you mean, but editing
/etc/hostconfig
will let you start and stop some services.

If you want to selectively turn specific services on and off (and, not to mention, add the Services menu to contextual menus) check out the excellent IceCoffee. Highly recommended. (Note: uses APE.)

I'm confused. How does a tool designed to open URL's by command-clicking them supposed to do all the stuff you describe???
