After I updated to 10.3.3, I was actually able to browse network volumes from the Connect to Server dialog. Recently, I lost that ability (and I haven't changed any system configurations). I've repaired permissions and rebooted, but I still can't see either AFP or SMB volumes. Any suggestions?

What directory access plug-ins do you have turned on? What do you see if you run findsmb in terminal? Here is a good link about network browsing.

I haven't changed my DA configuration...enabled SMB, AFP, and Rendezvous (AppleTalk also enabled in Network prefs). I can still connect by typing in the IP (not such a big deal as this is just a home network) but it's just odd that the Browse function used to work, and now it doesn't. Of course, after I connect using the IP, the volumes do show up in the network view, but that's a little redundant...

IMO, decent networking is the only thing I miss about Jaguar (and it wasn't that great even then).
