Hi all,
Is there a way to exclude certain software updates from showing up in the list?
I never installed iMovie, as I would never use it, and now it is always checked in the update list, ready to be downloaded (almost 90MB at that)... aaargh. Bluetooth and Airport also show up, although they are unchecked, despite me having no hardware to support either.
Many thanks in advance,
_nmk

Yes, you can disable unwanted updates in the Software Update application's menu.

Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Thanks a lot. I hadn't noticed that option.

It's still annoying, though, since it will periodically ask if you want to install inactive updates (at least Jaguar did).

I'm currently having the same problem on Panther! I don't have iPod nor iSight, but it seems no matter how often I "hide" the updates, they show up the next time I run SU. I have deleted preferences, etc. but they still show up. If I install them and then delete them, would that make them go away? Or??? Thanks in advance!
