Hi, I just found out all the cool features in the universal access prefs and noticed that they have included a feature that I've always wanted, to control the mouse with the keyboard.
The only probolem is I find it more comfortable to move the mouse with 8, 4,5, and 6 for up, left, down and right (respectively) rather than the number 2 for down and 5 for 'click'.

I think it would be better as 8,5,4,6 for direction and zero for click where your thumb would be located.
Is there any way of changing this? I'd prefer no to use third party apps as I don't trust em.

I believe the only way to change this would be to create a custom keyboard map.

You would want to create a keyboard map in which 5 is remapped to the zero key and 2 is remapped to the 5 key. Then when you want to get back to the normal keyboard you would simply switch the layout back to US or whatever you were using.
