I just bought an iPod, and I'd love to use the Calendar feature. So I want to get the Yahoo calendar that I already use into iCal.

But it doesn't look like iCal can import CSV files, and Yahoo won't export to anything friendly to iCal.

Is there a way to do it that I'm missing? Is there a third party app (preferably freeware) that would allow such a thing?

Thanks,
Brian

You'll have to use third part software.

Try this link

Hmmmmm... Dead link.

Yahoo can export to a CSV file, but I haven't found anything that will act as the middle man between the CSV file and iCal. I'm really surprised that something as basic as a delimited file can't be imported into iCal.

This is from the site:
Microsoft Outlook Data Loading

How do I create a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file to import into the iCal Calendar?

Open Microsoft Outlook.
Select the File / Import and Export... Menu option.
Select "Export to a File" and click Next.
Select your Calendar folder and click Next (Outlook 98 users, perform step 5 first).
Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" and click Next. Enter a convenient file location and name ending in .CSV and click Next.
If you receive Date Range prompt, confirm the displayed date range and press OK.
Click Finish.

Go to the Data Loading Administration page of your iCal calendar.
Select the "CSV Comma Delimited MS Outlook File" option, Click on Browse to locate your Outlook file, and then click the 'Import File' button.

Notes:
CSV field headers must be in English to be recognized by iCal Calendar. Non-English headers will result in an invalid file format error.
Internet Explorer versions older than 4.0 do not support file uploads. To import your Outlook information, upgrade to Netscape version 3.0 or higher or Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher.

If you're confused about the "data loading page", it's something that has to do with UC Davis (www.bml.ucdavis.edu). I have no clue what to do in place of this. Anybody have any suggestions?
