For the past 3 days or so, I've been getting returned emails that I didn't send. All of them contain an attachment, which is presumably a virus of some sort. Any suggestions about what I should do, if anything?

I reformatted my hard drive last week because my computer was acting strangely, for the record.
It's the devil's way now.

Yeah....quit associating with Windows users....since it comes from some Windows user who has you in their address book.

other than that....flag it as junk, and mail.app will catch on in due time.
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

Nothing you can do. Someone else's computer is sending the e-mails, spoofing your address on them. The only way you could theoretically stop it is to figure out who's infected and get them to disinfect their computer (good luck, btw - you'd need to know every person who has you in their address book).

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

I actually don't mind getting the bounced mails, as long as there's nothing harmful actually on my computer.

Thanks for the information, guys.

Yeah I've had the same thing, except only receiving them on an account I only check on a PC - and not very often . For that exact reason, I stopped keeping anyone in my Outlook address book on Windows. Saves everyone the potential pain!
