Combining more than one internet connection

Is it possible to combine two internet connections (ethernet, airport, modem, etc) to create one faster connection like Windows users can (but they can only combine two or more modem connections)?

I don't think it's built in to the OS, but you can do it with third-party software such as Intergate, which costs $99.
