Some of the apps I have installed such as Photoshop elements put a whole folder of stuff in my applications folder. I would much rather that only the application was in there and all it's accompaniments went in my "Application Support" folder. I tried doing this manually as an experiment, and didn't seem to have any problems. Am I right in thinking this will work with any application? Will they all look in my Application Support folder?

Thanks.

I don't like it that Adobe applications must be in a certain folder that has a billion of other required folders with additional stuff.
