This is just an FYI, for those with a PC and either a CD or DVD burner I highly recommend this software from Elby.

Here is the web site, even though the PC can't read a dang thing from the disc, this software just duplicates the entire CD / DVD. I have saved numerous copies of Mac only CD's on my PC and can burn a copy anytime.

I just purchased CloneDVD2 and made bootable (working) copies of my new PowerBook DVD's.

I really have used it for back up purposes. A few years ago I was able to make working copies of Diablo II so I didn't scratch up my originals.

Can't you just copy discs with Toast?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

can't you just make an image with Disk Copy, then burn another disc?
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

I don't have a DVD burner in my PB... nor would I want a 1x/2x DVD-R drive.

I have not tried since using an older version of Toast on OS 9 and was not able to make a bootable copy of a CD. But hey if the new version of Toast works, cool!
