First follow the guide below to remove the Airport v3.4 files

http://homepage.mac.com/fishsun/arti..._airport34.htm

Well I followed the guide and removed the v3.4 files it listed. There are 4 files to remove. (You dont need to install v3.2 before v3.3, you can go install v3.3 straight away)

I then restarted and installed v3.3 which somone kindly sent me. Before you re-install v3.3 it may say there is no airport card detected in your system. Don't worry it will install v3.3 anyway and once you restart, the card will be detected and work fine. Run disk permissions etc to tidy up

However the guide above does not remove all v3.4 files as in the about airport window these files are listed.

Framework 340.26.0
Menu Extra 340.23.0
AE Driver 330.10.0
Admin Utility 330.10.0
Setup Assistant 330.10.0

Anyway it doesn't seem to matter as the wireless connection is working fine now and not dropping every 20-30 mins as it did before with v3.4

If you wish to d/l v3.3 installer you can get it from my public folder below

Airport v3.3 Installer

Hope that helps people

Yes for some people there appears to have been no issue. I myself have been fortunate and have had no issues before with any apple update.

Before I reverted to v3.3 I did the following though to check if it was another issue causing the problem

1) repair disk permissions
2) Run disk repair and diskwarrior
3) Reset PRAM and PMU
4) I had updated through software update so I downloaded the separate file from Apple's website and installed that
5) Using a belkin modem/router wirless all in one. I changed channels and restarted it several times
6) Everytime after 20-30 mins suddenly I could not access the internet nor the router
7) However if I used an ethernet connection with the router than no issues what so ever accessing the router or the internet

At the airport extreme forum in the apple discussion pages, a fair few people have posted similar problems as me . Though others have had no issue
