I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden I have a .dmg file appearing in the list of drives in Disk Utility called cdr80-proxy.dmg. Its path is /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/Resources/cdr80-proxy.dmg.

If I mount the image a volume named "Untitled" is created, with apparently no contents.
I went to Finder.app and viewed the contents with "Show Package Contents" and there are other .dmg files in the Resources directory, but they don't appear in the Disk Utility drive list.

I checked the system on my TiBook and there's a file of the same name is present, but not visible in Disk Utility, so something must be amiss on my Cube where this one appears.

I looked at the .hidden file with Terminal and this file is not listed.
System otherwise funcctioning normally.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Ken
