Yah OK, so my family recently has taken to buying a lot of movies on DVD, and some TV shows. (Most notibly my Dad bought seasons 1-4 of Babylon 5) and I'm looking to be able to download the DVDs, and play them, the only problem is, last time I ripped a disc of four episodes using Handbrake, it was just one big .mov file, no chapters, no nothing, so if you wanted to watch episode four you had to kinda hope you hit the scrubbing part in the right spot.

Then I tried using, Mac The Ripper today and I got everything off the disc, and then I used Disk Utility to make it into a DVD CDR master or something like that, mounted it, and I went in DVD player to open a video TS thing or whatever, and it won't play... anyone got any suggestions?

You know... every time I fiddle with things in OS X, I post about it... and then two seconds later I figure things out... apparently pressing play after opening the video_TS folder works wonders... now my only question is... should I leave them all as disc images, or as video_TS folders...

I don't think it makes a difference.

Try DVDBackup, which you should be able to download from versiontracker.com.
