I transferred my domain to another server & I can no longer see my website through any browser even after emptying the cache. I keep getting "this website has been temporarily disabled" or page not found. According to my new host the transfer is complete & they can view the site just fine.they suggested it might be a problem with the mac & being behind a firewall..is there something I need to change in the directory?I repaired permissions but that did nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

hi,
it's http://www.tyberkatz.com

It will probably load for you though..it seems to be just me that continually gets the error message...another strange thing is I tried omniweb which I don't normally use & at first it was loading right for a couple of pages & then I got the page not found again. It's really aggravating..any suggestions?

it indeed loads correctly for me, which does seem to point that something is amiss with your computer.

here's an idea, try to telnet into your webserver on port 80 and see what happens:

in terminal, run "telnet www.tyberkatz.com 80" and, if you connect type some junk. example:

% telnet www.tyberkatz.com 80
Trying 209.171.43.28...
Connected to w.netfirms.com.
Escape character is '^]'.

get index.htm
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<TITLE>501 Method Not Implemented</TITLE>
</HEAD><BODY>
<H1>Method Not Implemented</H1>
get to /nf-errors/unknown.asis not supported.<P>
Invalid method in request get index.htm<P>
</BODY></HTML>
Connection closed by foreign host.

hi spiky-dog
thanks so much for your help...it is still totally baffling to me. I'm pretty sure it's not my firewall I think it's my host (somehow).I can't upload to the exact path. www. I have to include netfirms into the url.It seems the problem is occuring after I upload to the site. When I go back to my browser then the images are broken & any other pages from the site are disabled.I'm using transmit (which I have uninstalled & reinstalled twice). I have another website on a different server that I have no problems with..I can use the same browser see everything fine & upload fine..so that would indicate to me that it isn't my computer it has to be some settings or something that my host has..I've been emailing the tech support there but I get a different person each time & they tell me the same thing..& that I could see it just fine on a pc ...any other ideas?
