hey just a simple question here. What kind of sound control pannel does the latest version of mac os x have with the new 12" ibooks. Reason I ask I am used to my desktop pc sound card with all its extra setings for bass, etc in the sorround mixer. I heard that suposedly the ibooks have 16-bit audio sound wich hapens to be the same as what my card in this pc has. Not great but good enough for most uses.

It's pretty basic for the builtin speakers (just volume and balance adjustments). More detailed controls can be found within individual apps (like the iTunes equalizer).
