With my luck, this has probably been posted before, but I couldn't find it in a search.
Anyway, let's say that I start to play an mp3 in the finder using the column view preview pane. While this mp3 is playing, my finder starts to act very strangely. Scrolling and navigating any finder window causes everything to jump all over the place. Does this happen to anyone else? I'd like to have some confirmation before I send this off to Apple.

Yeah it happens to about everyone here. Well sorta...
Play an mp3 in the Finder, then try dragging a selection box around multiple icons on the desktop, the marquee should go all screwy.
I don't remember if it was new to Panther or not, but it was in 10.3.0.

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. So, I guess it's a pretty well-known issue.

The bug remains in the latest developer seed too.

Yeah, its been called the "Finder banana bug" a while back. Seems to happen to any app that uses QuickTime for the preview: QT Movies, MP3s, etc.
