I couldn't find this in the search, so here it goes.

In the past week or so I have noticed an interesting problem with my finder. Whenever I 'right-click' or ctrl + click a file in my finder window or even on the desktop I my system freezes up and then finder crashes and restarts. I am running 10.3.3 on my iBook G3 800 with 640 MB ram. Like I said, this has just started happening after I updated the airport stuff a few weeks ago, or whenever that happened, and I am wondering if that could be the cause, or if anyone else has experienced this same thing. I am not opposed to doing a re-instal, but would rather not.

Any hints or help are appreciated.

Thanks

Awesome! Thanks so much. I used the link, searched through what these other guys were talking about, and found the fix. I was a bit sceptical, though, because my system wasn't giving me a delay, it was simply restarting Finder everytime I tried the ctrl-click or right + click on an item. I went to the /Library/Contextual Menu Items and found some lame-o fild from a zip program that I tried about a week or so ago. JimZip isn't really that great anyway, so I had already deleted it from my system, but didn't know about this file.

Thanks
