As my Cube usually sleeps at night, I try to the periodic cronjobs manually. But both last week and today, when I do a periodic weekly it suddently takes a very long time - today I have it running on the fifth hour (before that it used to take around 30 min). Any idea of why it suddently behaves like that?
TIA,
Peter

I don't know why that would be, but I recommend you use anacron to get those cron jobs done. You can install it through fink, or google for a package I saw some guy put together.

Thanks for the suggestion - it seems very useful (the os x installer can be found here )
Now I just hopes the problem above fixes itself
But thanks a lot

Thanks for the Apple link, didn't know they had it up.
Been using Anacron for a while, works great on OS X. No troubles at all.
