I can't get the iPod Updater to stop showing in Software update. It downloaded and installed fine, updated the iPod fine (10gb, 2nd gen), and when SU went to check for more updates, it still presents the iPod Updater. This happens on two different systems, a G5 and an iMac.

I've also run a permission repair, but it still shows in Software update. I'll give it a day, and hopefully it's something on Apple's end, and it'll work itself out...

Try deleting: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate and ~/Library/Caches/Software Update.

You could try throwing away the receipt and then re-update it, though that's no guarantee it will do things right the second time.

I did try throwing away the receipt and re-update, and as soon as it was finished, it scanned and again wants to load that update again.

The files under the /Library/Caches/ directories have no recent entries, so I don't think there's anything there that'll help...

Hmmm....

You could just set SU to ignore it.
