Whenever Apple releases a new update software package I find I spend more and more time locked into a state of hesitancy before I commit my machine to the update. I find I have to wait, sometimes up to a month before I update because each new update is loaded with make sures issues, and even then I may not commit.
Make sure its compatiable with my aging 350 mghtz.
Make sure that 384 ram is enough to run up to 7 apps simultaeously.
Make sure there are no system conflicts.
Make sure that my computing experience will continue to be enhanced.
Among many other 'make sure's', its all a matter keeping a healthy perspective on possible computing experiential improvements, and installing these developments but more so whether the age of my machine will still continue to run smoothly if I commit to the updates.
I am thinking just now that I don't really need the new iTunes update, and I am basing my judgement on all the kerfuffles presently underway on a number of Mac news and info sites about the real conflicts between other packages.
