I just followed the apple support of deleting the iPodDriver.kext file then downloading & installing iTunes again, once iTunes starts the update for the iPod is performed. Everthing seems to be ok now, with my iPod now showing within iTunes as well as the desktop, however the version No. shown on the iPod is still 2.2 and I thought that the update was too 3.0?

But hey I'm just glad to have it back.

Wrong forum. Please review and respect the forum descriptions.

Anyway, the latest update is to 2.2. The previous version was 2.1.
