Running a Unix script for cleaning up?

If I recall there is an application that allows one to run the Unix scripts when a computer is on for 24 hrs. a day. However most are not so I used the application once yet forgot the darn programs name.

Anyone have an idea as to it's name?

Are you talking about the cron scripts? There are a number of apps that will let you run those on demand, including MacJanitor, Cocktail, and OnyX. If you're looking for a way to make sure the cron scripts get run on their own, I suggest you install anacron, which is available for free via fink. There's also a GUI program named Macaroni that does something similar, but it is not free.

I think it's MacJanitor I'll go check that one out now. Thanks for the reply.

I checked it out and that's it, thanks even more as I like what it does that I am unable to do.
