Yes, it's called Mac OS X, and it's already installed on your G5.
Mac OS X automatically defragment disks... Nothing needs to be done.

so you are saying its not like windows where i need to wait hours for it to defragment a drive, it just stays defragmented? Dont laugh at my stupidity, im new to mac, only had it for like 2 months

Yes. When an application tries to open a file which is fragmented, Mac OS X will transparently defragment it before opening it.

Panther automatically defragments files smaller than 20 MB.
