Just got email from apple describing enhanced .mac features, including more convenient location of "mail" etc in mini-menu bar. I checked it and it seemed actually there might be a little "snappinesss" to the .mac page now.

Along with this change, however seems to be a malfunction of the "preferences" panel which used to be available at http://webmail.mac.com/

Now the "preferences" panel (icon is similar to OS X's icon for system preferences) does not display the preferences but only takes me to .mac HOME.

Had anyone noticed this funkiness before the .mac improvements? Now?

[ Extra credit rhetorical question: why does Apple (like most huge corps) provide no option of web pages for users to report web site malfunction ? ]

http://www.apple.com/contact/ This link is located at the bottom of Apple's Home Page. Pretty obvious if you ask me (well, even if you don't ask if's obvious).

FWIW, A bunch of stuff seems wacko. When I try to check my mail with webmail I am asked for my pw and then thrown back to .mac home page. pw is not rejected, it just doesn't take me anywhere

Yeah, webmail is fudged for now. I can get to the inbox, see mail, but when I click on one I get sent back to the welcome page. But it loads faster.

Finally able to use Mozilla on my PC at work with this upgrade.

No more having to use internet exploder to check my mail. Slow, buggy, incessant warnings. I happy those days are over.
If I had a signature, it would look something like this

From the title of this thread, I thought someone was reporting Apple was intercepting their messages (i.e. the webmail is "bugged" rather than "the webmail is buggy").

Yes, it's definitely faster, but the dialog won't remember my password now. Only my username

Links seem to work now... but the Preferences page doesn't show all info it used to (e.g., % disk space used).

I emailed Apple feedback (thanks msuper69).
