I'm trying to use rsync on some macs running 10.1.5. I can't upgrade it because it's at work.

I got rsync to work--except that none of the file associations come through for files without extensions. Is there anything I can do?

Thanks in advance

rsync, the Unix tool, doesn't know about resource forks or HFS+ metadata.
You want RsyncX, a version modified to handle these Mac quirks.

There's a version that works with 10.1.5.

Do a search on psync. It can handle resource forks properly.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
