Lately my G5 has not been shutting down properly. I command it to and it goes through quitting all the apps and goes to the desktop background where normally a little spinner would appear and then the computer would shut down, but it just stalls there prior to the spinner. I have to hold down the power button on my computer to turn it off.
So in an effort to fix this I did an archive and install of the OS this morning, but the problem did not go away. Any ideas?
