Hi,
anyone tried an iPod on USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 and does it even work on USB 1.1?
I only ask as I have a Blueberry 300MHz iBook (no firewire port) and PowerMac 400MHz and want to use the iPod on the iBook.
let us know

That would be a negatory on the USB, Bob.
Firewire only on a Mac.

'Cept that the latest Software Update allows USB2 iPod connections on Mac, or so it states. In general terms, that would imply that you could use it on USB1 (albeit very, very slowly). But I don't have any personal experiences to back that up. Firewire for me.

what not even with 10.3.4 that has just been released?
I have a USB 2.0 card in the G4 Powermac and just USB 1.1 in the iBook.
If you haven't got the update yet then sorry about that.
