OK, when i bought my duel 1.8ghz mac, i just noticed (i must be blind) that it came with 3 cds, but i only need to use one to get it started. what are the other two for?

Perhaps if you told us the names of the 3 CD's, we may be more able to answer your question.

One of them has optional but useful software. The other has developer tools for people who want to make Mac software...

Last time I checked, they were clearly labeled too.

Well if you are referring to the Panther box than the other two are for additional software and printer drivers and languages. You can look in the Panther manual if you need more information.
