Whenever I boot Classic, I get an OS 9 error message once it's loaded saying "Finder has unexpectedly quit. Save your apps" etc. The odd thing is, Classic DOESN'T quit. It disappears from the dock, but it's still running according to Activity Monitor, and I can run Classic apps with no problem. It's just annoying getting this false error message every time.

Has anyone else encountered this glitch?

The two times I had problems with Classic, some third party extension (that functioned normally when booting into OS 9 directly) was the culprit. Have you tried booting Classic without extensions yet?

Hey, I think you won it, Moonray! I wonder if the OP has had any success disabling extensions.

Big Mac, booting without extensions doesn't help, unfortunately...
