I've had more kernel panics since I installed it than I had in the past two months.
Mac OSX is like Windows XP... only good.

Yes. I've had two. Never had any before then (since I "switched" in October 2003).

For me both occured just after I removed or returned my PowerBook to my desk and external monitor. This used to be 100.0% reliable - I do it a couple times a day.

After any update .. Repair permissions: Close all files and applications on the disk you want to repair. Go to Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility and double click it. Then select your hard drive in the left panel and First Aid at the top. Then click on "Repair Permissions." It will take a few minutes.

Mine KP'd within 30 minutes of rebooting after the update and the iMac KP'd after the install but before the reboot.

Both our firsts with 10.3 actually...

This happened twice to me under 10.3.3, when waking the 'book and attaching USB. No crashes under 10.3.4 yet.

10.3.4 is working fine for me. Since 10.2.7, all of my KPs are a result of my sound card, Revolution 7.1.
