Hi, i had a look for a thread on this prob , but couldnt find one..
I am trying to update to the latest OS 10.3.4 on my PB1ghz 15' and it keeps getting to differing stages of completion and then popping up with an error box saying;
"The update 'Mac OS Update' could not be verified or expanded correctly.
Make sure you haave permission to write to /temp/501/TemporaryItems/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate, then try again. OK
So i've tried like 4 or 5 times and have got it each time. Im using the admin accnt and also Im on dial up so its a pain to keep trying to do at 3k a sec lol.
But i got the other imac to run the update ok, so is there anyplace i can grab it from on the imac? Or anything i can do to fix it on this PB? thnx if anyone can help.
I'd attach a shot of the message, but im not allowed to, and i pretty much just explained it anyway.
