the clock on both my trusty iMac and my wife's new (used) iBook both seem to drift (mine is currently 3 minutes fast). I try to use "date & time" and reset via a NTP time server (using the default apple servers), but I get a message saying "synchonization failed. your NTP server may not be responding. try again later." have tried a US Navy server someone recommended with the same result.
both computers running 10.2.8.
had some trouble a while back accessing various servers after getting DSL and a NetGear wireless router. appeared to be the router firewall blocking access and that is now bypassed and I can access the servers/sites that were inaccessible before.
