I have to print something important today; my first color printing since installing 10.3.4. My file is in Illustrator, and I need to print from Illustrator.

when I try to print from Illustrator 10.0, the pulldown "Printer Features" isn't available in the print dialoge box, so that I can't choose Image type, Dither Algorithm or Ink Type (the last is KEY to getting good color for me)

when I upgraded Illustrator to 10.0.3, NO printer is shown, and selecting Edit Printer List and selecting my 750 from the resulting window doesn't make that printer show in the Illustrator print dialogue.

I didn't have this trouble with 10.3.3...all was pretty rosy all around. Any thoughts?

Is there an easy way for me to get back to 10.3.3? Archive and install has left me with some bad memories...is there an easy way to downgrade to the prior OS version?

Thanks for any advice; I'm in a world of you know what until I can start printing my document with proper color.

Have you repaired permissions?

After any update .. Repair permissions: Close all files and applications on the disk you want to repair. Go to Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility and double click it. Then select your hard drive in the left panel and First Aid at the top. Then click on "Repair Permissions." It will take a few minutes.

thank you, bergy;

turned out the problem was the OS-installed epson drivers..they seemed to be conflicting with the printer-specific driver I installed.

thank you for the suggestion!
