Hello,
Just wondering if anyone else has found a significant speed improvement (frame rate/responsiveness) with the new update. Noticed on my POwerbook that Unreal 2004 is now playable!

Very odd.. I have a PowerBook of identical specification, UT 2003 & UT 2004 performance took a complete nose dive to the point of becoming unplayable. And curiously enough, Many other people reported the same thing. Check the Games and PowerBook forums. It's been talked about rather a lot already.
I'm very curious why you saw an improvement however, while many folk saw the complete opposite, on this game at least..

The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.

I saw VLC move to taking 60% CPU on MPEG-2 playback. Previously it was at 20%.

Its been reported in several places that OpenGL graphics, including games, are slower in 10.3.4 than they were previously.
