I've noticed in some screen shots that people have pictures of their computer as the icon for Macintosh HD. I was just curious as to how you do this? I'd like mine to look like my iBook
MBP 2.16ghz 15"
iMac G5 1.6Ghz 17"
Powermac 7200/120

If you have a file with an icon you'd like to use for something else, simply

Get Info on the file in Finder (File menu or select the file and hit Apple-i)

Click on the icon field (it should get a blue halo around the edges)

Copy (Edit menu or Apple-C)

Go to the file/folder/disk you want it stuck on, select it

Get info

Click on icon field

Paste (Apple-V)

You can also paste pictures you've copied from elsewhere.

For a *large* selection of custom icons, visit http://xicons.com

www.xicons.com has some good icons, too.
www.iconfactory.com has a large collection of icons, and a variety of software for easily changing all your icons, creating your own custom icons, etc.
