I have two admin accounts on my computer. The main one I use all the time with all my important information, I forgot the password to. Is there any way to recover it? Please someone give me some good news.

You could try John the Ripper. It's a security tool designed to crack passwords.

You cannot recover a forgotten password. You can, however, reset it to a new password. To do so, boot from an OS X CD/DVD, and then choose "Reset Password..." from the Installer menu.

If you remember the other admin account's password, you can simply log into that account and change your main admin's password from there. Otherwise, boot from the install disc and use the password reset tool.

I tried doing what Art Vandelay suggested, but it said I needed the old password. I am going to try booting from the OS X CD. I have to have a friend mail me the CD, mine got accidently packed away when we moved and I have not found it yet :-(

You need to change the password for the admin account that you forgot from the other admin account that you remember. If you do that, it won't ask for the old password. If you do it from within the account that you forgot, then it will require the old password.

I tried changing my password in the other admin. account that I have, and I get this message "The Keychain password for this user cannot be changed to the new account password. The old keychain password remains in effect." Is there a way to get around this?

why don't you do it using netinfo? Just copy your password to the other account.
