burning DVDs with photos (advanced)

does anyone know of it is possible to burn a dvd backup of all my photos and also create a slideshow of SOME of the photos.

maybe a combination of iDVD and toast? using a multisession disc?


i just want the photos accessible on any computer, but the slideshow to display on dvd players.

i would prefer to edit the slideshow so that if i have lets say 1000 photos, the slideshow only shows the 500 photos i pick.


any ideas?

Sounds like a question about software to me, not Mac OS X. Post in the Software forum.
