ok i apologise first off if this is in the wrong forum - it wasnt clear as to where it should go.

after that - so the iTunes music store is available over here nice however stve should have said half the music store is available after previous searches on the american vesion it turned up ALL marilyn manson albums and songs but after a country change to the UK i only get one of his songs.

is it my computer? or are other europe people finding thiss too?

You are correct that the catalogue on the iTMS UK does not seem to be as comprehensive as that of the US. However, remember that the catalogue of the US has grown extensively over the past year or so, so I'd expect the same thing to happen.

Early days of course but very poor selection here. Surely the variety of tracks available in the US should be readily available in Europe? Or is it another korporate wallet-minder's imposed restriction?

Different licenses need to be negotiated with the local branches of the record companies, etc.

bad selection gives people excuses to find their music from bad "sources" .. itunes is the best software i've used on any system. i like the american selection thus far. they have alot of things i listen to
