Does anyone here know what is the cdrom device name in /dev/?
To be specific, I'm using Bochs, and cant find what to put in the bochsrc.txt line:

ata0-slave: type=cdrom, path=/dev/disk0, status=inserted

I've tried disk1, disk1s1-5, disk0, disk0s1, even the automatically mounted cd (/Volumes/Name-of-CD)... can some one please help me out here?

thanks in advance.

The numbering of disk devices depends on the order they are probed by IOKit, I'm afraid.

my guess would be to do this:
Code:
ls -l /dev/disk*
then pick the one that is read-only. but its only a guess.

easiest way would probably be to pop a CD in then run mount or df to see it's device path and mount point.

There's also a way you can poll IOKit for it - but the process eludes me at the moment.
