I've got a seeming problem with my mouse that popped up after 10.3.4 (grr, these updates are killing me, see iTunes problems in my other threads)

I use a Logitech Wireless Mouseman Wheel, but to verify this isn't the problem, I plugged in a Pro Mouse for a day and it still did it.

Basically, the problem is, my mouse will work great for a while, and then all of a sudden it will refuse to click (always after waking from sleep/screensavser, sometimes just during normal use) the cursor will be there, and will work but clicking does not. Unplugging the mouse from the USB port doesn't seem to fix it. Luckily, what does fix it is using Mousekeys, the numerical keyboard mouse control thing, if I click in an input field with that, then all of a sudden, the click on the mouse will work, but I'd like to get my numeric keypad back

Thanks :-)

I seem to be having a very similar problem (i have reported it to apple) with my mouse not clicking properly since 10.3.3. The problem im having normally happends in safari where the back, refresh, bookmarks bar refuse to be clicked. Normally i need to click on something else then click on the button i want, this isn't a major problem, just an annoying niggle. Also using Logic Pro the window resize button thing, never works when trying to click and drag (only dont this since 10.3.3), i have to use the zoom button then i can resize the window.

Similar mouse thing here too. New with 10.3

Mine won't respond after waking from sleep - sometimes. Seems to happen more if the system has been asleep for a long time. > hour

The weird thing is that the system still responds to the scroll wheel and right button. After about 2 minutes the system hangs and I have to reboot.

My guess is it's related to my 3rd party CD burner although I haven't pulled it out to test it

recently started having the same problem system wide on my 15" Alubook. Prior to that it has happened for quite a while in Safari where I have to scroll or move the window to click on a link and actually have it work. Now I notice the same thing happening in finder windows and other programs. The most recent thing I've installed is the new Konfab (1.7.1) and Deskshade Plus. I'm going to try running without them for a while and see if anything changes.

I've always had scroll wheel clicking problems with 10.3 when multiple users are logged in on my Powerbook. Not sure if it is a Sidetrack issue, or OS issue, guess I should track it down one day.

Ever since I noticed the issue, I started logging out my home account before logging in the work account and vice versa. I use the scroll click all the time to open new tabs when web browsing.
