Hello,

I'm needing some help with the PHP mail() function configuration. I am running both Mac OS X client and Server 10.2.8.

On the server, I have Communigate Pro as my mail server. On my client, where I test everything before I go to my server, I only have PHP and MySQL installed.

The problem is that I don't know the correct way to configure each of these systems so that the mail function works right and actually sends the email.

Is there anyone here that can help me with this issue?

Thanks!

this might have gotten more attention in the web developers forum, as it pertains to PHP.

pre-10.3 OS X client:
1. download, install and configure Sendmail Enabler

post-10.3 OS X client:
1. download, install and configure Postfix Enabler

then, for all versions:
2. use the mail() function.
3. check mail.

it's that easy. be sure to have ports 25 & 110 open too.

hope I'm not kicking a dead horse, but aren't they using Communigate Pro which is neither sendmail nor postfix. Perhaps this would be better:
