hey guys,

we just switched to 802.1x authentication where i work and the auth is being done by a PKCS12 self signed cert. i am one of the sysadmins instituting the 802.1x authentication, so i know that it's working and that my cert is a valid one.

the certs are protected by password and even though i am 100% positive that my password is right (i created the cert myself, plus have imported it successfully on a windows machine) whenever i try to import it i get the error that the cert password is bad, error -2147411899.

so...i know the password is right and the cert is valid. anyone else tried this and had success or failure? i also tried importing the non-password protected crt and pem, and this seemed to work, except that internet connect still says i don't have a cert that will allow me to use TLS auth, and this cert does do that, and i have the CA installed too.

i'm running 10.3.4 with all available updates.

thanks,
andrew davidoff
