OSX not recognizing iPod

	mac osx ver. 10.3.4 itunes 4.6 3rd generation ipod, 15 gig i have a friends ipod in my possesion and i have connected it to the firewire connection(with dock and without, on diffrent firewire ports) and to my surprise, it only charges the ipod but wont recognize it or go into it's "Do No Disconnect" screen my ipod works fine when i connect it to the computer. i've tried resetting the ipod, also allowed it 24hrs and tried the next day and also allowed the batteries to die and tried connecting it after it's been drained am i missing something? please help (Last edited by platan0; Jun 28, 2004 at 09:39 AM. )
