my friend wants me to be a Tiger test dummy

my friend gregobo got a copy of tiger. he told me to install it on my mac so he can play with it.

he wont install it on his own computer because he's scared. if i install tiger and use it as my everyday os is that ok. i dont trust him because he is a liar

To answer your question, hubert, Tiger is definitely beta software. I wouldn't install it on anything but a test machine. Plus, since you didn't go to WWDC, you are technically not allowed to install it, so that is another reason not to.

You probably should not install Tiger on a machine you intend to use for everyday work. This isn't even alpha-level code yet; there will be problems with basic, everyday stuff. It's probably only just barely suitable for demonstrations. Developers might be able to get a bit more use out of it, simply because they can poke around the new features, but that would be it.
