Spotlight seems like a really revolutionary technology, and I am sure it'll help me being more productive.

However, I have a couple of suggestions to make it even MORE useful:
- Add the possibility to have it also search the web. So when you type in Apple for instance, the Google/Internet part of the Spotlight list shows Apple.com (which is what rates highest in a search for Apple at Google).
- Add contextual menus (or "Action" buttons as in the Finder) to the search results. Don't know if this exists already though, but it would be extremely useful. For instance: "Send email to this contact", "Print this document", "Add this photo to iPhoto", "Upload this file to my .Mac public folder", "Open with..." etc. etc.

What do you guys think of these ideas? Any more that would be useful?

i think they said the SDK is already shipping. sounds like lots a good addons like you mentioned above will be on the way...

after looking at the stream i am now pretty jazzed about tiger...

this rev seems to have a lot of deep stuff for developers and less obvious surface stuff that make people go giddy. but the end result will be something much more them most expect once all the devs start to add this stuff.....
