Hello all. I used NetRestore to create an image file of one of my G4's with 10.3. I want to copy this image onto a few other G4's. I'm assuming that I have to use an external hd with OS X installed on it and the image file copied onto that and then use NetRestore from the external drive to copy the image onto the new computer. Is this correct? Also, what steps need to be taken in order to boot from the external drive? Thanks for any tips.

I believe that OS X will automatically boot from whatever external drive has a bootable operating system if your internal drive has been wiped clean.

WARNING: Some external Firewire drives are not bootable. My Iogear ION drive won't work as a boot drive, so avoid this model if you need that capability.
