I personally dont like Dashboard. Is the Expose feature gone? I wanna have my whole program show up, not just widgets.

Exposé has been replaced by Dashboard. You don't need quick access to your applications any more when you have widgets. For example, you don't need to access the small iTunes window. Instead you now access an iTunes widget that looks similar but slightly different. Also with other applications like Address Book. So you now need to learn two interfaces for each application (and developers have to provide two). One for slow and normal access and a different one for dash fast access which also looks much cooler.

This will very much impress your friends, that you can operate a system where no thing looks and works like another ("Cool, this is almost as in Linux").
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Apple are planning to replace most of the core apps with widgets by early next year, and they are encouraging developers to do the same.

Eventually they will disable the non-Dashboard view altogether.

Of course, the complete switchover to Dashboard won't be until Mac OS X 10.5 "Widget," so you'll have some time to get used to the new way of doing things.

And remember, Dashboard will also be responsible for performing essential system maintenance, so be sure to hit F12 at least once a day.

All sarcasm aside, Dashboard is a sub-feature of Exposé. It will remain in tact and Dashboard is merely an action with. F9, F10, F11 and now F12.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
