Is it possible to disable expose or hot corners temporarily just for video games? Its super annoying when I'm playing a RTS Game, and hot corners activates

Write a polite letter to the game developer asking them to
1) capture the display
2) disassociate the mouse cursor
3) sync to VBL

Yes, capturing the display improves performance. Note however, that it's only suitable for games running in full-screen mode.

If you use a mouse button for Exposé, USB Overdrive can be used to disable that mouse button in particular applications.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
