Hi all

One of the work laptops, Powerbook, 15" 800hz is playing up like a B*******d

First, we couldn't get Apple Talk to work. It was on in system prefs but it kept giving errors. Now, the bloody finder's playing up. I can't drag and file from anywhere on the HD and move it inot a folder or drag it to any other location!! I've checked permissions, repaired them, done a hardware test, checked the RAM everything but I can't get it working.

I'd like to move the PB to Panther but not for another month or so. Is there anything you can think of that will solve the finder problems? I'm on the verge of reinstalling but I'd rather not go through that hassle. Also, I can't really back anything up with the FW drive because none of the files will move. I han firwire it up to another Mac and pull everything of it I suppose.

Confused!

How much free space is left on the hard drive?
